General Scope And Summary

The Data and Analytics team sits in the Digital and Enterprise Capabilities group and is responsible for driving the strategy, implementation, and delivery of Data, Analytics, and Intelligent Automation capabilities across the Sage Enterprise . This central team will deliver “Next-Gen Value” by establishing core Data Analytics and Enterprise Architecture capabilities needed to effectively manage and exploit Data as an Enterprise Asset.

The Integrations & Platform Administration Consultant will be responsible for coming up with strategy, development and delivery of the Sage Integration Capability that will support rapid growth at scale across all lines of business at Sage. This role will have significant exposure to senior leaders across analytics and business in the Sage organization. This role will also be responsible in supporting existing data platforms from an administration standpoint.

Roles And Responsibilities

• Strategize and Develop Enterprise Integration Architecture Standards and best practices

• Partner with internal stakeholders and other cross-functional teams; design and implement best-in-class frameworks, methodologies, and governance structures with respect tp application integrations

• Ability to see the big picture with End-to-End Architecture and Enterprise Integrations.

• As appropriate, serve as part of the Delivery team for integration projects. This especially includes architecture and design, but also includes the willingness to dive in and engineer solutions personally if needed.

• Act as a subject matter expert on relevant topics, technologies, and trends.

• Lead technical assessments of vendor products or new technologies.

• Work closely with Data Engineering team in building Data Pipelines

• Support the Enterprise Platform Operations organization by ensuring systems meet stability, performance, and capacity requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience with next generation architectural concepts and frameworks within Enterprise Integrations

• Solid Experience with building and administering Data platforms that includes Databricks and Snowflake

• Exposure to multiple, diverse Data Technologies, platforms, and processing environments

• Experience and knowledge of primary cloud provider offerings and architectures (AWS, Azure, GCP)

• Experience with one of the programming languages (Python, Java, Scala etc.)

• Highly motivated, decisive, and results-oriented individual with the flexibility and creativity to excel in a rapidly growing and changing environment.

• Experience working with all levels of management and consulting with key business stakeholders; ability to influence for greater outcomes.

• Strong team player that has a customer service approach and is solution-oriented.

• Attention to detail and the ability to work individually, within a multi-disciplinary team, as well as with external partners and vendors.

• Possesses strong written and verbal communication skills.
